Mikko Heino (Minutian) decided to fulfill a dream he's been chasing for long: an in-your-face rock band with a carrot theme and aesthetics borrowed from Sega Master System's game Wonder boy. As a result his solo band RYLOS was born. Rylos will publish their debut album Game Theory in November 2016. The album salutes their idols ranging from Twisted Sister to Therapy? and they will also be heavily present in forthcoming live shows. Needless to mention, the album also kicks ass like no music before. As Mikko presents his current feelings with the current line-up of Rylos:
"I haven't experienced this kind of passion for playing and making music for ages. With this line-up we will be the Rylos that will be remembered in the future."
Rylos also has a mascot figure in spirit of Iron Maiden. The mascot of Rylos is called Ned The Carrot. Ned will appear on a four-page Rylos comic made by Esa Ahlqvist and also during Rylos' live shows.
So far Rylos has drawn attention by playing explosive live gigs in Finland. One show worth mentioning is their warm-up gig for Blaze Bayley in Henry's Pub Kuopio, where a journalist of a Finnish metal magazine was blown away by the spandex shorts and carrot eating habits of the Rylos vocalist.
Rylos has signed a record deal with Secret Entertainment and their debut album Game Theory will be published in November 18th 2016.
